PRE-CONFERENCE:
Let’s talk Biblical Counseling in the Local Church specifically in Eastern Canada
Part of our mission at the CBCC is to help connect Canadians desiring to counsel biblically together. Canada is a big place, and it is easy to feel isolated and alone. We want to serve churches and leaders by promoting the awareness and advancement of biblical counseling in Canada. At this pre-conference we are hoping to foster relationships within the East Coast with those practicing or who are interested in practicing biblical counseling. We hope to address the questions of why we biblically counsel and how it differs from “Christian counseling.” We want to discuss different models of using biblical counseling in your church and ways to train and launch leaders in an informal and formal setting. The resources we use and the ongoing support we can provide will be presented as we seek to support you in this ministry.
